1998 Gray Stallion

"Deacon" stands 15.1 hands and weighs in at 1350 lbs and he is gentle as a dog. This horse has been used extensively in the pasture roping and doctoring cattle and every day ranch work. There isn't anything he can't pull if you can rope it. This horse is gentle enough to be ridden by ANYBODY and is all business when under saddle. He has been hauled with other ranch geldings and mares and never gotten out of line.

We hand breed all of our mares to him and he is an absolute gentleman when it comes time to breed. Deacon can be handled by anyone and never gets hard to control.

He has excellent size and good bone structure and we are looking forward to seeing his first colts hit the ground for us this spring, so please check back as we will be adding pictures of his colts to the web site as they arrive. We honestly cannot say enough about this horse other than he is as geniune as they come!!

We lost Joe due to complications from colic. He was a very laid back, easy going horse extremely easy to get along with. We hand bred all of the mares this past season and he was always a true gentlemen and very easy to handle.

We have roped both heads and heels on this stud and have used him in the pasture. He had that true blue color that everyone is searching for.
